Water Impact Network

Photoshoot in Uganda

I had the opportunity to travel to Uganda to document the work of The WaterImpact Network, a charity focused on providing communities with access to clean water. Over the course of the trip, I photographed the installation of several boreholes, well-opening ceremonies, community portraits, and additional projects supporting local schools.

One of the most impactful parts of the experience was seeing firsthand the conditions of the water many communities rely on and understanding how much access to a clean water source can change daily life. Beyond improving health and reducing waterborne illness, these wells can save families hours of time each day.

The experience left me with a greater appreciation for the things I often take for granted and a renewed desire to use my photography to support meaningful causes.
