From homemade movies and skate videos to stories for screens everywhere
My love of filmmaking and editing started long before it became my career. From remaking episodes of Saved by the Bell in Spanish with friends, to shooting horror movie scenes just so we could experiment with special effects, I was always finding an excuse to get behind a camera.
Then came years of filming skateboarding, making edits inspired by action sports and music culture, and eventually experimenting with YouTube—where a few questionable music and dance videos may or may not have existed before mysteriously disappearing from the internet.
I’ve been using Adobe Premiere professionally since 2008, editing commercials, documentaries, multicam productions, explainers, and branded content across television, advertising, and technology.
What I love most is finding the story in the footage. Whether it’s capturing the energy of an experience, cutting to music, or bringing everything together with motion graphics and visual effects, I enjoy turning raw material into something polished, engaging, and memorable.
Premiere is a central part of my workflow, often working alongside After Effects and 3D applications for compositing, animation, and visual effects. I’m also exploring AI and automation to make the editing process more efficient.
From homemade movies and skate videos to professional productions, the tools have changed, but the motivation hasn’t. I still love making things, telling stories, experimenting with new techniques, and seeing what happens when it all comes together.
