From piano lessons and guitar pedals to waveforms, soundtracks, and everything in between.
Music and sound have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From piano lessons as a kid and singing in church to picking up the guitar in college, I’ve always been drawn to the creative possibilities of sound.
I’ve spent countless hours around musicians, band practices, recording studios, concerts, and festivals—sometimes behind a camera, sometimes with a guitar, and always paying attention to how music brings everything together.
I studied sound design in college, learning MIDI sequencing and creating beats and sound effects in Reason, a tool I’ve continued using ever since. I’ve also explored recording, live looping, and effects in Ableton Live, combining guitar, vocals, and digital tools with analog pedals to experiment with new sounds.
On the professional side, Adobe Audition has been a regular part of my Creative Cloud workflow alongside Premiere and After Effects. I use it for audio repair, cleaning up recordings, remixing background music, and handling the many audio challenges that come with video production.
Whether I’m editing dialogue, building a soundtrack, experimenting with effects, or recording a cover of a favorite song, I enjoy both the technical and creative sides of working with sound.
I may have spent more time around stages and studios than performing on them, but music has always influenced how I create. And whether it’s a film, an animation, or a song, I believe the right sound can make all the difference.
